Start with what you want to investigate. Develop your own research question and write your own paper, with professor and TA guidance on methods, evidence and revision. The course theme is a starting point—not a predetermined paper to reproduce.
Applications & feesStudents work toward their own research manuscript. Journal submission and acceptance are separate steps; publication and university admission are not guaranteed.
Seoul Research Program & Global Research Program
In-person summer research for rising Grade 9 through university students. Develop a question from your own interests and write your own paper with professor and TA guidance.
- 30 professor hours + 20 TA hours
- Up to 10 students per cohort
- Seoul and global in-person programs
Winter Online Research Program
An online research program during winter break, recommended for students in Grades 9–12. University students may also participate. Your interests guide the research question and student-authored paper.
- 10 professor hours + 30 TA hours
- Up to 5 students per cohort
- Online instruction and research guidance
1-on-1 Advanced Research Program
For students ready for advanced, independent research. Work online or in person around your schedule, usually over 2–4 months. Projects may finish within a month or take longer; research readiness matters more than age.
